CS1X0 flexure sample plates (FSPs)
Each sample mounted on a CS1X0 strain cell is held by a set of sample plates. For experiments that require straining very small samples or free-standing thin films flexure sample plates (FSPs) may be used to make sample mounting easier.
Accessory Overview
- Flexure sample plates consist of a single part with a 200 um slot over which the sample will span.
- Easier to align than standard sample plates.
- Necessary for straining unsupported 2D materials/ thin films using the Xu method.
